The Campus is above all, a resource for local community groups. A wide range of activities have developed over the years, many of them organised and delivered by local people.
Priory Campus has always encouraged local community activities to use its facilities:

Barnsley Asperger Parents Group
Barnsley Asperger Parents Group - BAPG are a group of parents whose children are diagnosed with (or under investigation for) Asperger's Syndrome, and who live in or near Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The group was formed in 2004, and aims to support parents by swapping ideas and experiences, overcoming difficulties together, holding talks by invited speakers and local professionals, and sharing knowledge of local services.
Meetings are held every month here at Priory Campus and parents are very welcome to come along and join us.

Barnardos - this national charity operates a large Family Centre within the Campus. The Centre provides pre-school day care, after school activities, play schemes and other children's activities.
The Campus also helped to launch the Lundwood and Monk Bretton Partnership which brings the local community together with agencies to oversee and secure local development prospects. The partnership has now gone on to be self sufficient.
